Branding & Identity Design

Femme Foto is a New York City–based networking and social community created to uplift femme and nonbinary photographers. Rooted in inclusivity and creative collaboration, the organization fosters a safe, empowering space for women, queer, trans, and nonbinary individuals to connect, share their work, and grow together.

I developed a brand identity that visually reflects this mission, centering on themes of inclusivity, fluidity, and connection. The primary logo features a custom logotype with a continuous ligature between the “mm” characters, subtly symbolizing unity and interconnectedness within the community. A vibrant and diverse color palette was chosen to represent the spectrum of identities Femme Foto celebrates, reinforcing its role as a joyful, open, and welcoming platform.

This identity system was designed to feel both expressive and affirming, capturing the warmth, strength, and creativity of the community it represents.
